They Won’t Forget (1937)

This is really a terrific Mervyn LeRoy directed film with a screenplay co-written by Robert Rossen (All the King’s Men (1949)) that features a standout (& eccentric) performance by the great Claude Rains in a story based upon the infamous Leo Frank murder trial in Georgia. Otto Kruger Elisha Cook Jr. and Lana Turner ("sweater girl") appears in her first film.
