Obscure FilmsRedheaded actor Dick Foran made a number of "B" westerns for Warner Bros. in 1936 & 1937 as "The Singing Cowboy". The movies themselves are pretty short, an hour or so, and fairly typical and/or predictable as far as the plot goes. In most of the films, he uses the same horse - Smoke, a paint. But, it's interesting to note that many of the films feature a well known actor (or other known individual) also in the picture, though not in a starring role. I've tried to point these out in each of the films I've reviewed below: |
